The Board of Directors of Educational Programs Inspiring Communities, Inc. (dba The H.E.A.R.T. Program) is pleased to announce that Seth Malin has been selected to serve as the new Executive Director for the organization. Seth takes the position as the Founder and former Executive Director, Jane Borochoff, steps into the role of Chair of the Board of Directors and Special Advisor to the organization. Malin has been leading The H.E.A.R.T. Program as Interim Executive Director for the past 11 months. Previously, Malin held the positions of Deputy Executive Director and Director of Development.
“I’m extremely excited for this next chapter for H.E.A.R.T.,” said Malin. “I look forward to continuing to build on this incredible legacy which has already contributed so much to our community by helping those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.”
Malin brings over 25 years of nonprofit organization experience and leadership to the position in development, marketing, public relations and programs. His leadership skills and experience with H.E.A.R.T.’s current partners make him an exceptional individual for the role of Executive Director.
“As Seth has been running the organization for the past 11 months as Interim Executive Director and has worked closely with me for a number of years at H.E.A.R.T., there will be no steps lost in this transition of leadership,” said Borochoff. “The Board came to this decision after significant consideration given to the skills, experiences and expertise needed to successfully guide The H.E.A.R.T. Program in its next phase of growth.”
